High school students from five states, including West Virginia, Ohio, New York, Maryland, and Virginia, entered Reid Hall at Washongton & Lee University to begin jCamp 2013. They were welcomed by an opening session by Bobby Hawthorne explaining how to write better stories as young journalists.
Students in the newspaper design track learned the basics of graphic design and how to improve their command of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Students worked on developing three projects.
